After a very busy year so far, I took the day off for my birthday and finally got around to opening the EIR from the group buy. I have it all stickered up now and ready to dry. My usual drying spot is up high on top of a cabinet in the server room at my office. 80 degrees and 30 % humidity. I don’t think this EIR is going to fly there because it is some stinky stuff right now! Nice wood, John, thank you! |

I only just got mine about a week ago. I guess it took a boat from the US - The EIR world cruise. How long should I let this dry before building with it? |

This depends. I like to get it down to under 8%. Once you get it clamp it so it won't warp. After a week of aclimating you can sticker it. Place a 1/2 square stick between the sets and let air dry. If you have a warm dry spot with good air flow you should be ready in about 12 -16 weeks. At this time I will rough size it letting it about .025 strong and do the final size when I am ready to use it john |
